Ann grew up in North Carolina, in an entrepreneurial family of furniture designers and manufacturers, which seeded a life-long passion for collaborating with makers and doers.

After college, Ann moved to NYC to work with the world-class makers and doers in the content (Condé Nast, MTV), and advertising production industries (Sacred Noise, Brand New School, The Barbarian Group).

In 2008, she co-founded the representation company Simpatico, where she represented multi-million dollar companies in the worlds of film, editorial, design, animation, digital and experiential. Seven rewarding years later and after her first born child, Ann sold her stake in Simpatico for a senior role at branding, strategy and design studio Gretel, a former Simpatico client.

In 2017, she migrated to the recruiting side of the business, taking on senior roles at ARC and Grace Blue in 2019, where she further honed her eye for talent, project management, client service, operations and new business.

Ann’s passion for architectural + interior design was stoked after renovating her own brownstone in 2018. She dove headfirst into all of the project managing, design and materials sourcing. With her family background, she was up for the challenge and fell in love with the process. With no formal education, only that of learning on the job, during the pandemic Ann starting helping friends and new clients produce and conceptualize their kitchen + bathroom renovations, living spaces and continues to this day.

Happily nested in Park Slope, Ann lives with her husband, Scott and two children, Ida and George.
